The Large Ball Head Adapter is for heavier DSLR cameras (up to 1.5 kg). With this adapter you can connect any ball head on the market. We have been working with the Joby SLR-Zoom and the Manfrotto 492 and 494. The adaptor has a 1/4 inch and 3/8 inch screw to connect to the ball head and can be clamped rigidly to the 2nd pole section (Ball head not included). This setup is not recomended for action sports, but will enable you to make interview shots over the shoulder (while on the move) or even film yourself from the front while walking around (Snorricam). For the best results we advise to use this ad-on with the 3rdPersonView ALL SPORTS PRO.
